More Chinese Takeover in Sihanoukville

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

Everyone knows that it could be raining on one side of town and yet have no rain on the other side so the rainfall measured should be taken as an indication only.
Ask an Australian living in the outback why they are flooded out, yet have had no rain.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

LOL. I suppose that he is referring to all the land from the coast to the mountains in Sihanoukville. Chinese are calling this area Westport now. (Because it's a Western Chinese port I suppose.)
Westlake sewage rules. :assasin:

I'm curious, does anyone have rainfall records? Can we compare to other wet seasons?
Sihanoukville
Yearly average
3498 mm (3.5 metres !!!)

Monthly average
28 26 111 118 300 472 647 697 609 328 13 32

I have not been able to find this year's actual rainfall records, or any year-by-year records.
Anybody??

^^ She sure is.

In years to come, Mother Nature will bring a typhoon and teach them why they shouldn't have built so close to the beach.
