UK power cut "Apocalyptic"

Lol, OMG power went off for a couple of hours in UK, It was "Apocalyptic " apparently !!!!.

Power off now in SR, a little bit warm in my apartment without the air con but not exactly apocalyptic.

Got caught in the midst of the "apocalyptic" powercut. It was mildly inconvenient not to have wifi for an hour or so. Worse still, afternoon tea was delayed.

Surely, this is a fault with the domestic staff?
A minor issue of a power out should hardly lead to drastic consequences of tea service interruption.

Delay only caused by the slightly longer time it took to boil the water in a pan as opposed to the kettle. The staff reacted quite well :lol:

Used to have loads of power cuts in the 70s & early 80s, great fun in those days ... or was it just that Spigzy Senior hadn't paid the bill ... :-)

A good, reliable limousine and knowledgeable driver eradicates this problem. Not to mention the chilled Bolly in the armrest refrigerator.
