How much do you spend on a good night out in Phnom Penh?

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Define ‘a good night’. Or do you just mean getting fucked up?

Sure, they mean knocking back a liter of strong liquor and spending the rest of the night rolling around in the gutter puking. Obviously.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Saigon beer prices.... What about the bars around the bottom end of Pasteur street...some great HH deals, like Vinyl Bar (where Lee the owner chooses the music and its usually 60's Brit pop), all the draft beer you can drink from 5pm to 7pm for $5. Phattys tends to be expensive being run by an Aussie who wants to keep the riff raff out (and it worked, I hardly ever drank there).

^^ Would be good to go to a bar where the owner plays alright music actually. When I first started going to the Pp bars I thought the you-tube thing was a great idea but now not so much- yeah great to able to play dj sometimes -until some girl comes along and changes it to that "fast and furious " song- or something worse,a bit of a buzz-kill that. And I bet a lot of altercations in the bars start over musical differences. Surprised I haven't seen a bar with a juke-box,no coins in KOW but wouldn't be hard for them to have a supply of quarters to be exchanged for 1000r notes.
