We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Cambodia Breaking News (Phnom Penh): On July 27, 2019, at 2 am, a Chinese man got US$150 stolen and $100 exchanged with a fake 100 USD note at a massage shop on street 172, Phnom Penh.

According to the victim's girlfriend, her boyfriend felt uncomfortable and wanted a massage, so at around midnight, they went to the massage shop. While her boyfriend was getting a massage, she saw two massage ladies were checking her boyfriend's wallet, but she wasn't concerned about that because the ladies told her that they were looking for a tissue. After getting a massage, her boyfriend went to pay, but the massage lady didn't take the money and let them go.

When they got back home, her boyfriend checked his wallet and realized that he had had money stolen and a fake money exchange. They went back to the massage shop, but the owners argued and insulted them and then closed the shop.
Since the owners refused to discuss with them, the woman and her boyfriend contacted the reporter and the police for help.
