Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Originally a quaint fishing island without too much racket, now it’s a paradise for expats and tourists. Actually, it’s especially popular among expats, to a degree where it’s become almost exclusive to them

"The aforementioned old lady is the place to get the stuff in M’pai bay. ... Naturally, we asked what kind of cookies are these and got the answer – HAPPY COOKIES!!!! While gesticulating with her arms all over the place. Later on we learned from the guy that ran our hostel that she’s “the man”

" One night we saw a guy with a rifle and flashlight search for something in a tree. About fifteen minutes later, we saw him come in the restaurant we were eating at with two giant bats in his hand, and surrendering them to the kitchen. Yikes."

"There are some things to be aware about the island though. For example, there are no doctors and the pharmacy works “occasionally” which basically means you’re fucked if you get sick, and we did get sick."

"Almost all of the restaurants are owned by expats. Food is decent and you can find both Khmer and Western dishes, though you have to be aware that hygienic standards aren’t that high, so there’s a high chance you might get food poisoning."
