My Favourite Bath Soap

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

That's a western black-magic thing. I doubt they ever tested Bee and Flower brand on anything when they developed it a long long time ago.
Personally, no, my skin has pretty much the same youthful lovely sheen that the half a billion asian users of this product have.
I think the dry skin is another western black-magic/big-pharma/chemical-soap thing. Once again.

Fair questions tho'.

Used to use this back in Boulder and later in Kathmandu and India. Haven't seen it or thought of it for ages. Thanks for the memories...

First found it in Bali and still buy it whenever i can, nearly 50 years later.
Available in Phnom Penh, intermittently in supermarkets, regularly from some small shops.

Lovely scent, hard cake - so it lasts.
Great for "hard" water, even lathers well in salt water.
Yes this Bee & Flower is another all time favourite, classic I must say.

Still use this. My first time was in Nong Khai. Still love the sandalwood scent. I didn't look for it here in Viet Nam, but it found me.

Somehow, it never occurred to me to share it on this board. But now, the truth can be known...

I used to use that Chandrika Hare Krsna soap way back, it was good. Where do they sell it?

Bar soap I find excellent for the hands, giving them a hard scrub and also the feet. Can't beat it for the purpose it is intended for it's use. But for the whole body I personally like the use of liquid soaps, such as the goats milk I mentioned previously, or many would say shower gel. Also with shampoos I would in the shower use all over the body. Even when shaving now I use the products here, it's been so long that I am beginning to forget the shaving gels and creams.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Just took this photo at Sheng Siong Supermarket (Singapore), have offer, save 5 cents per soap if you buy 3 pcs (prices in Singapore currency)

Been using this particular soap for a few years now.

It has a nice creamy lather and leaves me smelling like a tarts boudoir but that happens to be far more favourable than the typical “men’s” soaps I have tried.
