“This Rolex GMT-Master is the holy grail of watches owned by Marlon Brando and one of the greatest ‘long lost’ watches to finally surface after years of speculation,”

"Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo has announced that its next New York auction, titled Game Changers on Dec. 10, will offer Marlon Brando’s personal Rolex GMT-Master that he wore in the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola film Apocalypse Now."

"In 1995, Brando gifted the piece to his daughter Petra Brando Fischer after her 1994 graduation from Brown University. His hand-written note said: “This watch is like a tank"

"The watch, which Brando acquired in the early 1970s, remains in the same condition as it appeared in the 40-year-old film, with its bezel missing and fitted with a black rubber strap."

Neither my outbox or sent mail shows any history of a message to clutchcargo from this morning. Very strange. Must lay off the Tramadol for a bit.
