Cambodia Breaking News (Sihanoukville): A Chinese company has built a five elephant statue in front of their company, opposite the famous Golden Lions statue in Sihanoukville.

On July 6, 2019, Mr. Poy Kea, director of Kyodo News in Cambodia and a member of the Board of Directors of Cambodian Journalist Club, posted on his account that " For years, nobody wanted to build buildings or make business on the land opposite the statue of the golden lions in Sihanoukville. They believed their business would go bankrupt because of the influence of the Golden Lions to their feng shui. Recently, the land in Sihanoukville has become very expensive, so the Chinese company has decided to build their business opposite the Golden Lions, but they have also built a five-elephant statue out the front, against the power of the golden lions."

Mr. Poy Khea said that based on animal documentation, an elephant is able to kill a lion. [And, according to him]An elephant could kill seven female lions or 2 male lions. So, five elephants should be plenty to keep the Golden Lions at bay.

There is a legend about a Governor of Sihanoukville and the Golden Lions Statue: The Governor was scared that the power of the lions could make him lose his position. So, he went to meet a fortuneteller from Hong Kong to find a way to hold on to his position as the governor. The fortuneteller told him to put a golden ball in the lion's mouth, so the lions were unable to bite, and that would protect him.
And you can see the golden ball is still in the lion's mouth to this day...however...

Ahh.. So it's good feng shui. to walk through a rampaging all-male herd of obviously agitated African elephants to get to your hotel room??

Just don't take acid while staying there and you'll be fine.

Otherwise you may get trampled.

Except it wouldn't be done because of some fear of magical powers.

Man, those lions always surprise me with their ugliness.
