20 Monks Sick in Outbreak at Sihanoukville Pagoda
Cambodia Breaking News (Sihanoukville): On July 5, 2019, 20 monks were reported to have taken ill at the Enernhean pagoda, in Sihanoukville.
The head of the pagoda reported that there are 200 monks who live and study there, and on July 5, 20 of them became sick. The illness was not named, but the monks were all suffering from a high fever. Some of them recovered at the pagoda, but some had to be sent to the hospital for treatment.
