Many Cambodians don't understand the importance of internet forum mods. When I asked my wife's family, they said they had never heard of them. Most villagers here don't have access to Internet Moderators, or simply don't have the money to hire one.

Thanks everyone for the congrats. And thank you again General for giving me the opportunity to help in the mod team. I’m excited and thrilled to take on the new role.

As you’ve probably gathered from some of my posts, I’m a huge fan of CEO and look forward to contributing in a different way going forward. Not only is it a great community for discussion, information, news et al but also, a lot of fun!! Of course there are serious topics to discuss but it’s also a place for some good humor and jokes. I’ve tried to add to that along the way...certainly after the ‘Simone affair’ in recent days…it’s nice to have that balance I think.

I guess with the new hat on, my posts may not quite be the same going forward as the pre-mod clutchcargo ones eg I might have to tone down some of those weird and obscure topics on Asinine haha coz

Ah yes, I chose my words carefully with 'I guess' and 'may' coz I'm not sure how that hat will feel going forward

I don't see why one would change their posting style if it was their posting style that had them considered for the job in the first place. It just means putting the mod hat on when needed occasionally.
