Bavet City, Cambodia News: On May 9, 2019, the police force of the provincial immigration agency cooperated with Bavet City Administration Inspectorate, led by Colonel Khun Sam Sambath, Deputy Police Commissioner, and Ouk Bonna, Administrative Representative of Bavet City Administration, in an inspection of foreign workers' immigration documents.


The police went to four Bavet guesthouses where they are renting rooms to foreigners and checked the passports of 95 foreign nationals: 92 Chinese and 3 Vietnamese. 82 of the foreigners were women, and 13 of them had something wrong with their visas, presumably either overstay or no work visa.

Pailin, Cambodia News: On the evening of May 10, 2019, the Labor Inspection Team of Pailin province inspected two businesses for foreign workers working illegally in Phum Prum Village, Stung Kak Commune, Salak Ra District, Pailin Province.

In the first business targeted, immigration officers found two Thai nationals with valid visas and work permits. In the second location, inspectors found 4 foreign females of Chinese nationality, but only two of them had valid visas and work permits, so the other two women were taken away and detained by immigration authorities to be deported to China.

On 10 May 2019, Immigration official inspectors visited 13 businesses in 4 provinces to check foreign workers' documents. Different types of businesses were targeted, including construction sites, shops, casinos and restaurants. The four provinces where the inspections took place were Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk Province, Pailin, and Kampong Cham.

The 13 businesses targeted by the authorities were 1. U U Shop, 2. Mosso Somnus, 3. GINO GEM is located at Tonzenkrek Village, Sangkat Kork Chork, Siem Reap Town, Siem Reap Province, 4. The construction site of Huoyu Property Exploration is located in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville Province, 5 Victory Casino 6. Diamond Diamond Hotel and Casino, 7. Smart Splash of the World, 8. 88 Coffee & Minimarts, 9. Cantonese canteen restaurant, 10. The Chinese supermarket is located at Phsar Prum Village, Salakrao Commune, Pailin City, Pailin Province, 11. The Stung Trang parish, 12. Shanghai Construction Group (MOU) and 13. Long Sreng Company is located in Ton Tots Village, Prek Kak Commune, Steung Trang District, Kampong Cham Province.



The inspection teams targeted a total of 1,528 workers, 170 of them were foreigners: Chinese 156, including 46 females, Taiwan 02 people, Korea: 06 people, 4 females, 1 Filipino, 1 American female, 1 Japanese, 3 Thai, including 1 female, using E 163 visa. 28 of them were found working without work permits: 5 in Siem Reap, 15 in Sihanoukville and 8 in Pailin.

Pursat, Cambodia News: The work permit inspections continue with the Foreigner Inspection Working Group from the Immigration Department checking three targets on May 25, 2019 in Veal Veng district, Pursat province.
The 3 target areas were:
1- Atavanh Aint, Chill Luk Village, O'Som Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province, there are 37 foreigners and 2 Chinese nationals without the correct documents.
2- Brick Brick Village, Thmey Thmey commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province has 31 foreigners and 2 Chinese nationals,
3-Phoum Veng Copper Co., Ltd, Bram Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province, there are 6 Chinese citizens; police have seen two work permits and four workers without permits.

Fuck me, if there are 37 foreigners living in Chai Louk they must all be specials hiding in the scrub.
As for the immi police....

Thank you. Correction, think that should read as 37 workers and 2 Chinese nationals working without work permits.
1- Atavanh Aint, Chill Luk Village, O'Som Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province, there are 37 workers at the site including 2 Chinese nationals without the correct documents.

Cambodia news, Mondulkiri: At 09:30 am on June 25, 2018 the professional force of the Keo Seima Police detained five Vietnamese nationals for working illegally at Binh Co Rubber Company 1 and subsequently forwarded the five men to the Keo Seima district police station to continue to comply with the law.
The Bureau of Investigation and Procedure of the Department of Immigration were called in to cooperate with Keo Seima police to question the five Vietnamese suspects and to organize their expulsion to Vietnam by the nearest border gate according to the procedure.

CURRY N KEBABs and Other Siem Reap Restaurants Inspected

Siem Reap, Cambodia News: On July 3, 2019, the Joint Working Group for Inspection of Foreign Workers in Siem Reap led by Lieutenant General Suy Sopheap monitored six sites, which included 4 foreign-looking restaurants, 1 travel agency and 1 guesthouse.

The force checked these six locations: 1. HIS (Travel Agency), 2. Bakery (Restaurant), 3. CURRY N KEBABs (Restaurant), 4. Taipei (Guesthouse), 5. Good Taste Malaysian Restaurant(Restaurant) and 6. Seafood Restaurant (Restaurant).

All of these sites employ a total of 57 workers, including 11 foreign workers, all of whom had valid work permits.
