Arg! Sorry guys. Been pretty busy. At least you guys found it. Installation is also extra everywhere, and pricing can change a lot depending on how much copper wire you need. But they're cheaper than pretty much all the other shops. Haha, nice you mention the tall Chinese looking girl. She looks a bit "angry/serious" at first, but she's actually friendly and probably would have laughed had you mentioned me. She just comes off as "strictly business" and has a straight face. I often drop by that place just to chat with the staff if no one's there.

They were pretty straight up with the product pricing, and came back to tell us what they could discount and what they couldn't. We'd done our homework elsewhere and knew this was the best pricing we were going to get, out of $1700 they could/would only come down around $15 and were honest about how much they were making (as verified from other sellers). The a/c install price wasn't much of an issue, three guys for a full day, some serious home renovation involved, and the landlord is happy with the work. I hate to think what it's going to look like when we leave and take them out though, some serious channeling and ducting at play. I watched the guys working with the copper pipe and was impressed, proper shaping, brazing etc., and they ran the drain pipes back through the same ducts.

Thanks for the lead, BKL - and yep, that's the shop.
