Battambang, Breaking news: At 8:10am on 28 June 2019, a 51 year old farmer, In Eang, was plowing a field in Banan district, Battambang province, when he came across an UXO, a MK81 bomb believed to have been dropped by an American aircraft.

The farmer stopped his plowing, and immediately contacted the authorities, who called the explosives specialists from the CMAC (Cambodia Mine Action Center) to remove the bomb and disactivate it.
