Burglar in Jocks Beaten Up After Poisoning Dogs to Steal Motorbike
Cambodia Breaking News (Svay Rieng): On June 25, 2019, at 02:10 am, a 40-year-old man, Chun Samnang, one of two burglars, was arrested after poisoning dogs and attempting to steal a motorbike, Kampot Chrok village, Sangkat Prey Angkoy, Bavet city. The victim was identified as Sao Sareth, 33-year-old, a factory worker.
Neighbors said that in the early hours of the morning, two suspects broke the padlocks of the house gate, after they had slipped poisoned meat to kill the two dogs of the house. Suddenly, the house owner called out, and a nearby police patrolman turned up in time to see the two men trying to steal a motorbike. The policeman and the victim grabbed one of the two men and beat him up, while the other thief escaped.
The suspect was detained at Bavet police station for case preparation following the usual procedure; this includes allowing local journalists to photograph the suspect in his underwear to make him embarrassed. Police are searching for the man's accomplice.

"The policeman and the victim grabbed one of the two men and beat him up"
Is a good kicking by the policeman and the victim part of the "usual procedure"?

Those cheap Chinese knock-off padlocks are pretty much useless, he's not even had to bring a crowbar.

I would hazard a guess that he had trousers (pants for Americans) on before getting caught.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
