Oh so true... The image of the heavily tattooed dread-locked guy hugging and sleeping with a kitten is particularly disturbing and it would quite please many people if he was given a very heavy dose of phenobarbital.

So, please donate money to the cat-sitter on behalf of the people that left their kitten behind.

I'm not sure if this happens elsewhere, but there is definitely a "thing"in Cambodia where transient foreigners adopt local animals for the time that they are here (sometimes only a few months), and then try to pass them on, or advertise on facebook for new owners when they leave.

Problem is that the cute little kitten you adopted last year has now become a tomcat who loves only you, bites any strangers, and pisses inside when upset, and who would want that ? Pets are not always transferable.

The story is even wierder given mummy organises the fundraise yet wasn't directly involved with the cat. It doesnt smell right..
