Is he challenging China? Or is he destroying the US economy because he is the worst businessman in the US? He doesn't understand how the dollar works internationally. Now he wants a tariff war with Mexico, too. Do you honestly think either of these things will help the US economy? The guy who wrote The Art of the Deal for him said he didn't read books. I believe he said he thought he couldn't actually read.

I’ve not witnessed competent executive action in my lifetime lol, but Trump is the worst by far

Yes, he's challenging China in a way no country ever dared before. He's an enormous prick, and a liar, and I could rant on for ages, but on this I think he serves the interest of the USA in the long term.
And I'm sure he will be reminded for this in 50 years time. Not for his 'grab 'm by the p8ssy'.
