Battambang: According to the Ministry of Interior's Media Dept, Prek Toal is a tourist attraction on the Tonle Sap Lake in Battambang province, which attracts many tourists to visit every year.

Between December and February is the best time of the year to visit as you will see a large number of migrating birds. The best time for bird watching there is early morning and late afternoon, so you have to spend one night staying in the Prek Toal area, which is a simple stay and costs between $ 15 and $ 20.

Visitors must travel by boat before arriving there, so you need to travel from the port of Chongkarnsey and you have to rent a boat to the canal at $ 45 to $ 50 for the boat. One boat can carry from 3 to 4 people. Once you get there you will need to pay another $ 35 to $ 45 to visit the wild birds. The money you spend in the Prek Toal tourist area is invested in the upkeep of the wildlife sanctuary.
