Sick Official Jumps from Khmer-Soviet Hospital in Phnom Penh
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia News - At 8:20am on May 27, 2019, a retired police officer from the Department of the Minister of the Interior ended his life by jumping from the fourth floor of the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. He was severely injured in the fall and died in a hospital emergency room soon afterward.
Police in Chamkarmon district said that the victim, Lau Vannarin, 58, a Cambodian national, was reportedly suffering from an incurable disease. RIP.
