Land of Smiles

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Today is Vesak day in Thailand, a very important day in the Buddhist calendar as its Buddha's Birthday. For this in Thailand no alcohol is to be sold throughout the country. So simple dinner without beer.

If life is not easy, its ok, as long as life is happy.

As a travelling screw salesman yes life is not easy, sometimes its hard, however be positive look forward to a better tomorrow.

Just completed a tough day, its just passed midnight and you are on the way to the salesman motel. Just had too much drinks with customers, needed something hot before retiring to bed. Found a noodle shop in front of a 7-Eleven but next to a happening pub

had a hot noodle supper
