:stir:

They kindly request you not to flame them on the web, or mention it there. :hattip:
EDC does not check anything, and EDC then says "the electricity meter is OK"". It's all a sham, but it's not the truth!
All post on Facebook at EDC have this result!!!

The reason for the shutdowns was that Cambodia does not have enough electricity!
But if you look at the bills and the consumption, much more electricity was consumed! I wonder what the game is?
It's all a lie in favour of EDC, and who is the owner of EDC??
You can easily find it on the Internet! I will not mention the name of the family!
Big scam!!!!

And that's why they don't want you to out in through public channels.

Don't tell me ... let me guess.

Are they well known in Cambodia?
Are they considered special?
Have sons and daughters in high positions in government and private holdings?
Politically affiliated?
He enjoys the trappings of power?
She sits in the background but holds a big stick?

Nooo..... sorry... cannot think of anyone that fits these criteria in Cambodia. In America yes but not here.

meters can be damaged by power surges

To test your meter

1. Select an electrical appliance that consumes a constant and reasonable amount of electricity so you can test the accuracy of your electric meter like a fan. Read the label on the appliance you have selected to determine the wattage it uses be sure to use the highest wattage and use the fan on high speed.

2.Write down the wattage.

3.Turn off all electrical appliances in your home before testing the accuracy of the electric meter. Double-check that every electrical item is turned off. Read the electric meter and write down the reading next to the wattage you wrote down from your selected electrical appliance.

4.Then check that your meter has stopped.

5.Turn on the selected electrical appliance and make an accurate note of the time you turned it on. Leave the appliance operating for exactly 30 minutes. Turn off the appliance.

6.Read the electric meter reading again. Write down the reading.

7.Subtract the second meter reading from the first reading. This tells you the wattage consumed during the 30 minutes your appliance was turned on. The reading should equal half the wattage you wrote down from the label on your appliance, if your meter is accurate.
For example, if you wrote down 2,000 watts, which equals 2 kilowatts per hour, your meter reading increases by 1,000, or 1 kilowatt, so the figure you got following your subtraction is 1,000.

Mine just came in as the fourth lowest in the last year at 222kWh. I average 270kWh ($50) a month.
