British expat, Peter Christopher Jordan Dies in Phnom Penh
Re: British expat, Peter Christopher Jordan Dies in Phnom Pe
its all amazing, puzzling, baffling topics of history, he wrote about.
particularly the operations manual for the ark.
i think, many dont know really, that they were given.
though, since indiana jones 1 (lost ark), we know, that its not recommendable to just have a peek into...
first of course, the exact manufacturing was described - size, design, material, fittings.
though, still nobody knows how it really would look then... good instructions, huh?
and then, the old testament also says, who may carry it or deal with it.
only a "levy" (e.g. gideon levy from haaretz newspaper) was permitted to open (and to move) it, when i remember right.
and before anything (and particularly before its being moved), the high priest (which is the israeli PM, as ariel sharon was) had to speak some special prayers on the temple mount...
personally, i believe the jews found the ark after 67.
in solomons tomb.
which all was, where it would belong - logically.
at their only possible home in the universe - in jerusalem, beneath the temple mount.
would like much, reading his OP manual...
