22yo British Expat Sam Penhallow Dies in Phnom Penh

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

At least the family hasn’t got the added stress of repatriating his body home.

RIP.

far too young
young people can have heart attacks/strokes too, theres no age limit, it just doesnt get reported in the west, i remember a couple of local stories last year

A 20-year-old University of Lincoln student who had more than seven strokes after a night out has taken to Youtube to share her emotional story.

Luna Jarvis, who studies Film and Media at the university, suffered several strokes in February.

During her moving video she reveals how, while suffering from the early symptoms, nobody believed her due to her age.

She claims both university staff and paramedics told her she was too young to have a stroke.

East Midlands Ambulance Trust said that ambulance staff recognised her symptoms and took action, taking Luna to hospital for further care and treatment.

After a night out Luna said the left side of her face began to tingle and she had several episodes during the next day when she collapsed and had to be rushed to A&E where doctors assumed she was just drunk.

Eventually after several tests it was revealed she was actually suffering from a stroke.

A runner has said that he is lucky to be alive after he suffered a stroke on Christmas Eve while running on a treadmill at the gym.

38-year-old Ronnie Staton from Retford who is a running coach in Lincoln was at the Sports Direct gym in the south west of Lincoln training for the Boston marathon next year when he started to feel ill.
there was another i remember too as it was the girl who used to share a flat with my friend, she was only in her 20's too
