Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia News: On the night of May 12, 2019, in the Special Economic Zone, located in Phum Pro Poi, Kandieng district, Svay Teap district, Svay Rieng province, two Khmers and a solitary Chinese man were drowning their sorrows in drink, each in their corner.
After some time, one of the Cambodian men, Yuan Van Dong, became insulting to the Chinese man, Ziyi Yin, and then got aggressive. Eventually, he picked up an Angkor beer bottle and hit the man over the head, knocking him unconscious.

This brutality shocked the local people who captured and detained the suspects. Both suspects were subjected to a slight beating by the local people before being handed over to the Sagaing Police Inspectorate for legal action.

The victim was sent to the Chi Phou Referral Hospital in Bavet City.
