Trees Uprooted After Heavy Rainfall, Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh: On May 09, 2019,at 03:20 pm, there was a spate of heavy rain causing trees to become uprooted and topple over along the road in Kdan 2 village, Sangkat Methapheap, Phnom Penh. There was nobody injured.

After about 6 months of no rain at all, I think the much needed heavy rain was worth losing a couple of trees for. Thankfully no-one was injured.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

Yeah JB, those magnificent rows of old frangipani.
I am not sure how old they are, possibly pre '91 ???
I know they have been trying for nearly a decade to eradicate a serious fungus infection. The black trunks are a symptom but it does not seem to affect the flowering.
The effect of the masses of that particularly pure white flower is actually heightened against the black.

They are quite possibly nearing the end of their natural life cycle.

Only a few months ago posters were horrified they were severely pruning trees along various boulevards.
