Eat in or take out

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

Someone will know better but isn't it like "kh--jop" for takeaway?

Kcharp / kchorp is takeaway

Mouy ba-ob is one 'package', as in "stick it in a take away box for me, geezer

Example in context :

Bai sak jruk mouy ba-ob

1 non eco friendly polystyrene box of pork and rice with a plastic bag of pickled veggies all thrown in another plastic bag with a plastic spoon.

Hey thanks.
How do you write kchorp and ba-ob in khmer?
I don't know how to pronounce it otherwise.
And i thinkni heard something else said.
Ie you gonto BK and they ask if you'll eat there or take out.
It's on the tip of my tongue. I know if i heard it i'd recognize it.
