I was born in London to two Australian parents, moved back to Australia when I was 18 months old, and haven't been to the UK since a 2 week holiday when I was 10, and hold only an Australian passport. Does that make me British?

I think its only Americans now, ( Ireland had it up to 2005, Australia up to 1986) that give you citizenship if your born on American soil;
hence the reason lots of pregnant women take tours on US boats whenever they dock in hopes of having their kid onboard.
also Maternity tourism industry was big in the 2000's
illegal immigrants that have kids on US soil, called Anchor babies, are US citizens under the 14th amendment.

3% correct. There are more than 30 countries of the 195 on the planet that have laws allowing birthright citizenship also known as "jus soli" ( latin meaning "right of the soil")phuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 9:37 pmsiliconlife wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 7:57 pmI was born in London to two Australian parents, moved back to Australia when I was 18 months old, and haven't been to the UK since a 2 week holiday when I was 10, and hold only an Australian passport.
