Stung Treng Village Oldies Caught Trafficking 1 Kilo of Meth (VIDEO)

Stung Treng Province, Cambodia News: The flow of methamphetamine from the Laos border into Stung Treng province continues unabated, touching all sections of Cambodian society.
On May 3, 2019, the Stung Treng drug squad reported that they have arrested two elderly villagers, a 70-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, in possession of 994.5 grams of methamphetamine crystals. The man, identified as Phum Leu, was caught handing over the drugs to the woman, identified only as Sophie, on the evening of 2 May.

Police do not believe that these people were acting alone and they are continuing their investigations to discover the provenance of such a large amount of drugs.

If this were to happen in America, the woman would tell police he forced her to accompany him and that she encouraged him not to traffic drugs. The police would think for, maybe 2 seconds, that yeah, you're a woman so you're probably innocent, let her go free but her husband will get many years in jail, and a few charges tacked into his record.
