At least 156 dead, hundreds injured in multiple blasts at churches, hotels on Easter Sunday

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

The liberal bbc article on Mahsood, Westminster Bridge attacker. No mention on him having mental problems, repeatedly mentions his religious beliefs:

Another liberal paper, the Guardian's article on Hassan, Parson Green bomber. No mention of mental problems, motivation was revenge attack for father's death in Iraq, not religious:

Those are the two you are talking about, right?

Tarrant murdered those people in New Zealand in the name of white supremacy, so you should apologise for being white and not stopping it.

cherry picking is easy, mental problems is a term that is often used, also the claim that people were "radicalised online" you don't need to go online to find imans spouting hate speech they are busy in mosques all over the country, the legal ones stay just inside the law. If the link i had posted about the netherlands beach had been from the guardian would it have been called left wing propaganda?

Why do we have to rely on far right links to find news like that, why did it take a week for the MSM to admit the facts about Cologne on new years eve why is it being repressed by the MSM ?
I am often called a leftie when arguing with Tommy Robinson types, i was a labour supporter until Blair came on board, as somebody pointed out" i didn't leave the left, the left left me. people get slammed with the word racist, facist, islamaphobe for criticising Islam, an ideology , people don't get slammed for criticising communism,,socialism, catholicism, etc.
I am neither left wing or right wing i leave the boxes for others. There is a whole thread devoted to slagging off the Chinese who are accused of overtaking Cambodia but i haven't seen anybody accused of "chinaphobia" ?

Jack Straw a UK left wing labour politician who was at the front of the aparthied movement in the 70s said he would be uncomfortable to see a constituent who was wearing a burqua he was shouted down as a racist !
If we cannot discuss Islam without these slurs then we are sleepwalking into a dangerous place and leaving the space for the far right.
Enough i am out of here.

hate follows hate and the circle continues, No way to stop it....
NEGOMBO, Sri Lanka — Auranzeb Zabi was cooking rice at a friend’s house on Wednesday when he heard angry shouting outside, looked out the window and saw a mob of Sri Lankan men carrying iron bars.

A day after the Islamic State claimed responsibility for suicide bombings that killed more than 350 people, Muslims in some areas of Sri Lanka were facing a rising backlash.

The mob surrounded the house. Mr. Zabi, a Pakistani refugee who has lived in Sri Lanka for two years, said he grabbed his two children, dashed into the yard and scampered over two walls before reaching an army checkpoint.

There the mob caught up with him, he said, and delivered a harsh beating, begging the soldiers to let them kill him. Hours later, Mr. Zabi still looked terrified.
In the town of Negombo, where an attack on a church during Easter services killed more than 100 people, gangs of Christian men moved from house to house, smashing windows, breaking down doors, dragging people into the streets, punching them in the face and then threatening to kill them, dozens of residents said. No deaths were reported, but many Muslims fear it is only a matter of time.

If one of the bombers’ goals in slaughtering hundreds of innocent men, women and children at hotels and churches on Easter Sunday was to stir new religious hatred in Sri Lanka, that may now be happening in some areas.

Its amazing that people can no longer differentiate the few from the majority and all eventually suffer.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

NZ media have agreed to a new approach to media reporting on the white supremacy extremist attack in Christchurch.

Christchurch trial: New Zealand media agree to curb white supremacy coverage
Reporting guidelines devised and signed by five major news organisations

New Zealand media organisations have taken the unprecedented step of agreeing to limit their reporting of the trial of the man accused of the Christchurch mosque massacre in an attempt to contain the dissemination of his white supremacist beliefs.

On 15 March a shooter killed 50 people in two Christchurch mosques, the largest mass shooting in New Zealand’s modern history.

In the lead-up to the accused shooter’s next court appearance on 14 June, New Zealand’s five largest media organisations have signed a voluntary agreement committing to adhere to a strict set of protocols designed to limit the exposure of the accused killer’s ideals and beliefs.

Brenton Tarrant, an Australian, has been charged with 50 counts of murder and 39 of attempted murder. He is being held in isolation in New Zealand’s only maximum-security prison, Paremoremo, where he has laid a complaint that his detention is breaching his human rights.

A copy of the agreement, signed by the heads of RNZ, TVNZ, Mediaworks, NZME and Stuff, says they fear the accused could use his trial “as a platform to amplify white supremacist and/or terrorist views or ideology”, and preventative action needed to be taken to limit his audience and exposure.

“We are also mindful of our role as the ‘eyes and ears of the public’ in the context of court reporting,” the agreement states.

“In this instance, we acknowledge the particular importance of this function, given the many victims’ friends and families outside New Zealand who may otherwise be unable to engage in the trial process.”

The pledges in the agreement include only assigning senior journalists to cover the trial, limiting the coverage of statements that “actively champion” white supremacist or terrorist ideals, not quoting from the accused’s manifesto, and not broadcasting or publishing “imagery, symbols or signals” from the accused that reference white supremacist ideology, including hand signals such as the Nazi salute.

It is understood the agreement is the first of its kind to be signed in New Zealand and represents a bold step forward for media co-operation during a time of unprecedented upheaval and intense competition for dwindling audience numbers.
