Home Sweet Home 2 bedroom , Duplex Style

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

A couple of observations...

Freestanding safe on display and not secured top the wall.

Miserable prison grey cement on bathroom walls - Why no tiles or even a few coats of paint?

Water heater in under shower head so will get wet. Higher up and shrouded if you must just stuff it on the wall without any thought.

Bedroom wardrobes with no doors. Seriously, what are you thinking? That'll look a right mess when it's full of clothes. And dust. Doorless wardrobes (and kitchen cabinetry too) is the most idiotic example of style over substance. Put some doors on them, and a few mirrors of those doors wouldn't hurt either. Don't forget handles too.

Kitchen is a joke. Island kitchens need to be big and square otherwise they just look daft. This is a prime example. Food preparation surface is either the tiny area between the sink and the hob, or it's on the table - the eating surface itself, both of which are all in the wrong place. The highly polished surface will be covered in foodstuff and hot oil splashes from the hob in no time and that will soon take that varnish off.

What's with the gas hob? Put in a nice flush-to-surface electric hob. Less heat escape around the sides when cooking and much more attractive. And no gas bottle to have to hide in a cupboard.

You shouldn't really put an oven next to a fridge without a proper insulation/heat shield. Fat chance that's been installed. It just looks all wrong, It should be under the hob. Simple, practical and neat. All in the proper place.

The dangling extractor hood looks silly. And where does the exhaust gases go? The bedroom upstairs?

You had a perfect chance to put in a practical and aesthetically pleasing L shaped kitchen, with proper food preparation surfaces and still had room for either a simple return at the end for eating upon or a separate table and chairs. And you would also have had a nice open space in front of it. Instead you have created an impractical and incoherent mess. At least you put doors on the units, so well done for that.

Rent is too high as well.

Good luck...

Whilst you cant deny it is a sweet looking place, question is, where on 19? full of grotty little places unless you're at the very top or very bottom of it. Secondly that price, I see it has dropped, but the things you can now get for that money makes it ambitious to say the least. I remember looking at a place (2016) on 15/136, two beds upstairs, all nicely done although weirdly no balcony the landlord wanted $650, not bad but no balcony was the deal wrecker. couple of years later (2018) it was on again for $350. A guy in realty I know said not so many folks are interested in riverside anymore so a lot of deals to be had....this ain't one of them :stir:
Pls check google maps . will show st.19 is .... , I have no idea what's you been experienced finding a place , whatever your budgets...This place was rented 12 months lease with $800/month.
We going to sale the apartment with lease , so that's next owner profitable .
Royal Palace/Independence end (246,242,240,184) sure it may be worth it any further up is pure dumpsville even the 108 bit, although with the regeneration it is nicer. Good luck with the sale. But be more precise in locale. Its like saying street 51 or 63 which could be anywhere from the nice bits of BKK1 to the cess pit of GSM

Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Never mind the shading and the wacky editing, it has got to be the after FX that will convince potential buyers....not?
