Does it work on sheep ? Just asking for my kiwi friend.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Now that's something to think about. I was in the french quarter NOLA FUBAR, and woke up in the morning in my hotel and do not remember to this day how I got home. I remember the beginnings of heading there.Yerg wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 12:32 am I asked my question for a reason. I like a drink as much as the next man (or woman). But over the years learned my own limits. It has been a very long time since I drank myself into a state of stupor or oblivion. However I did have one event in 2017 where I woke in my apartment with no recollection of anything from about 8pm the previous evening. With a stomping headache which I rarely suffer from. I can’t say for sure that I had been fed something. I’m always able to recall the evening’s events (good or bad) with little effort. That night remains a mystery to me.
They have this drink called a grenade, served in a lime green container that is long and high with a grenade shape at the bottom. It contains a mixer and 100% proof alcohol. It goes down like nothing but will fuck you up like nothing you have ever experienced.
A new friend who was a piss tank and drank beer from morning to night received one from me as a gift. I saw him pouring it out behind a rock; he was smart and knew better, haha.
NOLA french quarter and mardi gras rocks and is worth a visit if you've never been.

I was "roofied", or slipped some GHB one night in Phnom Penh a long time ago, by some cat faced Viet who was hanging out with this American I knew.John Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:26 pm This story has been doing the rounds for many years. There might be some truth in it but then most people who complain about being "drugged" were absolutely wankered themselves at the time.
Somehow in all my time here nobody has drugged me to the best of my knowledge.
Fortunately, I have a bit of capacity for that sort of thing, and just noticed after a bit that I was awfully drunk for somebody who just had four or five beers.
I had to leave my motorbike in that bar, as I literally couldn't throw a leg over it, and walked home along 178 and up 19 to near 136, in a manner akin to that scene in "Fear and Loathing" when the two lads had huffed ether and were trying to enter the casino.
Made it up the stairs and got my keys out and awoke around ten hours later when a neighbour found me passed out in the stair and gave me my phone, computer and keys (which were scattered around where I had passed out) and told me I should go inside my house. . .

Re: Devils Breath - Rapedrug
I got hit with something once...in SNV about 12 years ago. Was making the rounds of the clubs, drinking and dancing. I woke up in my guesthouse in a pile of broken glass and other debris with no memory of anything...
Apparently during the night I went berserk and destroyed the room...door was off the hinges, sink torn off the wall, water spraying. I was told the cops came, took one look, and simply left muttering. Lucky for me I had known the guesthouse owner for years and was a regular. I sheepishly approached him, horrible headache crippling my every step. He said flatly, well...you had quite an evening. I offered on the spot to make restitution, leave immediately, or turn myself in, whatever would clear up the issue and retain whatever honor I had left. Since he knew me, he knew I would never pull a runner, nor was my behavior anything but WAY out of the ordinary. He figured a bad reaction to something somebody slipped me. He let me stay and his handyman had everything back to normal within hours. He laughingly told me he was wanting to make room improvements anyway, so actually saved him money...I did all the demo myself and provided rebuilding funds for one of his rooms. For some reason, I left the TV alone...
The 2017 bar street roofie attacks were quite real. Two sets of perps. Some of us helped narrow down one guy to a Singaporean dude, but he fled and has never returned. I think he got tipped off (word did spread on the street that a few...um...of us...were on the hunt). There were several rapes in total, the perp(s) taking everything including their clothes, leaving them naked in the guesthouse with nothing, remembering nothing.

So this backs up what I had heard back then!! And your description of the headache being 'crippling' brings back fresh memories!!Felgerkarb wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 10:20 am I got hit with something once...in SNV about 12 years ago. Aside from the headache, I was all in one piece.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 12:41 am Did you feel like you had been raped? Something about this isn't adding up for me. I feel the issue is more about drunken drama-queens than inadvertently drugged tourists.
Re: Devils Breath - Rapedrug
There was a story on Australian television some time ago, about a place in Indonesia where they were regularly spiking drinks and robbing people. The management were in on it.

Never been drugged to the best of my knowledge but do have a few blackouts over the years from booze.
Completely off topic that would be a great name for a brand of weed, or even a west coast IPA.
