Launching Ceremony for Sihanoukville Public Toilets
Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: The launching ceremony of the new Public Restrooms at the Independence Beach Park was held on the morning of April 2, 2019 under the auspices of the Global Hygiene Association, and the ceremony was attended by the Governor of Sihanoukville and many other high-ranking officials.
The public toilet complex, begun in November 2018, will be completed on June 29, 2019, at a total cost of $ 40,000, of which $ 35,000 will be received from City Hall, Suwon and the World Toilets Association, and another $ 5,000 is from the provincial budget.
In the building, there are 17 toilet rooms, including five toilets for men, four toilets for women, a toilet for women with disabilities, and another for disabled men, and a bathroom for young children.

One built several years ago had a very funny plaque. It was built by Mr Toilet of the World Toilet Association. They have improved the wording since.
