Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On March 28, 2019, at 11:30 pm, a 35-year-old man, Tim Komtes, was arrested after driving a Lexus car into a group of people resulting in 2 people dead and 8 others seriously injured, on street 324, Sangkat Beung Salang, Khan Toul Kok, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, the people involved had celebrated an ancestor ceremony, and after that they had a party. They invited the suspect to join them for a drink, but the suspect refused, and he went to sit in front of his house.
A while later, the suspect had an argument with his family at his house and he damaged the house window. Then he got into his car and drove it into the group of people who were drinking, causing ten people to get seriously injured, and two of them died immediately.

The suspect tried to run away to escape, but he was detained by the police and sent to the police station. The local police then contacted the traffic police to check the accident scene, and took the suspect to the traffic police station to follow the legal procedure.

Why doesn't the suspect's dad just write him a letter saying he'll turn himself in to be interviewed in a vip room in a few days time?

RIP to his victims.

In this case its too bad mob justice didn't erupt and end up in his demise. Also too bad that HE decided against capital punishment. Who needs people like this in the world.
