I just started reading this an find it fascinating,
I have always believed China plays the long game, 2,5,20 years is nothing to them when their history goes back thousands of years.
>>>
I highly recommend anyone interested in China's strategy for the next 30 years to read this.

I'd also love to hear from our Chinese posters here ( newkid)For more than forty years, the United States has played an indispensable role helping the Chinese government build a booming economy, develop its scientific and military capabilities, and take its place on the world stage, in the belief that China’s rise will bring us cooperation, diplomacy, and free trade. Based on interviews with Chinese defectors and newly declassified, previously undisclosed national security documents, The Hundred-Year Marathon reveals China’s secret strategy to supplant the United States as the world’s dominant power, and to do so by 2049, the one-hundredth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic. I downloaded the ebook last week when you posted it. Just finished reading the Introduction during the recent power outage.
It should be compulsory reading for all Cambodians before it's too late.

Red Star Rising. Its already far too late. The machines are in motion. The decline in the USA is already endemic in its youth, whereas the opposite is true in China, where a less entitled work ethic thrives.
USA global arrogance (be like us and here let me help you) has led to this.
Anyone with their eyes open can see it clearly. Now, just on demographics alone, China's middle class and available disposable income is flooding the west (and the world) and they are buying whatever they can.
"Diversity is our strength", they said. Yeah, right.

The USA is watching the chinese economy tumble.
There are millions of young Americans who are not drinking the koolaid of cnn and the bbc..
All this great hindsight about the chinese game plan and its 5,000 years of civilization and great strategies..
art of war .... theology...
omits Ghengis Khan and Mao...
china remains intact due to iron fist no freedom communist party thugs...
they steal rather than create...
they poison their own water and air ...
they were so full of their own bullshit they were borrowing money from banks to invest on their stock market...when it tanked...banks closed..the government forced banks to no longer loan to people for stock market investments..
The build shitty buildings and keep building them to feed their machine...
Just look around PP and you will find building after building that are empty and new ones being built next door...just like back in china..
