just watched Part 1 of "leaving Neverland"

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I watched both parts of "Leaving Neverland" and also watched the interview after the show, with Oprah and the two men who claim they were molested as children.

Both men seem believable and credible.

The man who went on to became a famous choreographer and dancer, choreographer for the likes of Brittney Spears and other musical groups, seems more comfortable with himself, but the other fellow seems absolutely troubled with all aspects of MJ's abuse.

For example, he opens a small jewelry box full of large gold rings, and tells the story of going into jewelry stores with MJ--who said the rings were for a woman, but the boy's hands were the same size.

Once at home on the ranch, MJ would make the young boy "earn" the rings.

Descriptions of the abuse were similar with both men--MJ slowly grooming both boys and their families, buying them things and trips, flying them around, inviting both starstruck boys to appear on stage with him.

The mother of the choreographer seems like an idiot, still a bit starstruck. She didn't want to view the part of the movie in which the sexual activity was described. She "wasn't ready" for that. I find her abhorrent and culpable in her naiveté.

The mother of the other young man seems tortured and repentant--admitting at the film's ending, "I fucked up."

Long and short of it, there is no way in hell any parent should allow their child to sleep with adults. Even if the adults are rich, famous, and persuasive. Huge error.

Most people in my social circle have thought he was a pedophile for a long, long time. His fans are indeed blind and a bit odd--kind of like the DJT supporters, I suppose.

Michael Jackson is a turbo nonce. Latoya's outs him on national TV.

Oh dear......Barbara Streisand said:

The two men who have accused Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them when they were children were “thrilled” to be with him, and that the alleged abuse “didn’t kill them.”

and she than .....Barbra Streisand apologizes after sparking outrage
In her apology statement, Streisand she had not chosen her words carefully, and had not intended to dismiss the trauma of Jackson’s accusers.
If ur going to post, post the whole correct quote, not take it out of context!!

Barbara Streisand has some thoughts:
“His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.”

“You can say ‘molested,’ but those children, as you heard say, they were thrilled to be there,” she continued. “They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.” ~ Streisand

If you want to be boring about it sure..

Anyway, she's only apologised coz of the outrage...I'm sure she meant every word of it.
