Thanks for posting that, great story. I'm surprised, someone here can't help you out with the location- that wagon-wheel wall is quite distinctive. I guess if you did a day trip out to Tramkok (apparently also spelt Tramkak?) someone would point you in the right direction. I'd be keen to get a pair next time I'm back so please let us know if you find him.

Yes, a wonderful article. I liked the part where at 87 years old he still cycles 100 km from his home in Takeo province to Phnom Penh to sell his produce.

I doubt very much he does it everyday and that’s a round trip. Nonetheless a sturdy chap.

And not even a gofundme in sight.

I'm not so sure. That design is pretty ubiquitous on the border walls of Wats in Cambodia.bittermelon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 12:23 pm I'm surprised, someone here can't help you out with the location- that wagon-wheel wall is quite distinctive.
Anyway, I'd buy a pair too. Hope he has some 'tom' sizes in stock.

I've seen him outside Peah Puth Pagoda on Charles de Gaul.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

In Canada, circa 1970, made from leather and old tires, they were cheap, durable, comfortable and we called them Ho Chi Minh specials.
