Seriously, when he was found not guilty, who actually believed it?

Re: just watched Part 1 of "leaving Neverland"
I'm sure there are lots of theories why this is so..however, the Clutchcargo one..for what it's worth is:
In short, people wanted to believe the fairytale.
The story of the Jackson Five..the abusive father..Michael was the youngest and had the best voice.
He made good later and was very talented. He became so successful with the Thriller album etc and bought the Neverland Ranch along the way. Turned it into a dream like kid's amusement park with rides, a zoo, train tracks and game arcade.
People started to believe that because of his controlling father and fame, his childhood had been stolen from him and what he was trying to do was recreate it with Neverland. And that sort of extended to justifying him wanting child friends...sorta like he was a child trapped in a man's body a la Pee Wee Herman.
The 'Wacko Jacko' noise made sense with some people on the grounds that MJ was a bit strange on account of his troubled childhood and the effects of all that fame.. And regardless, what a great entertainer he is..

The problem in this case are the fans. They usually wear blinkers when it comes to negative, which is told about their idol. That makes an honest discussion impossible.

imagine this took place in PP
A 30 year old farang taking young boys into his room and into his bed
aple be on to him in 5 sec's
and NOBODY would think he was a child trapped in a mans body
MJ was lucky, he had the Best defense $$ could buy

Ours was always - Why does Michael Jackson always have cheese on his cock? Because kids'll do anything for Dairylea.
I guess I'm showing my age and nationality with that one!

Mj is definitely not conventional.
Imo it's definitely odd the things he did. Whether he committed a crime, ill leave it up to the justice team.
Money motivates people, good or bad, they will have to look at themselves in the end.

Why are there some of them who say he didn't bum them, like Haim and Culkin. If he was a full on pederast any little arse would be fodder, surely. Does pose some questions. This is why Savile had himself encased in concrete.

I can imagine that it takes a lot of courage for a grown man to stand up and say he was ass raped.cptrelentless wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:38 am Why are there some of them who say he didn't bum them, like Haim and Culkin. Does a full on rapist rape every woman he meets?
I am not sure what question it poses to you, but to me, the question is why would any man make excuses or apologize for a child rapist.

A few reasons come to mind;cptrelentless wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:38 am Why are there some of them who say he didn't bum them, like Haim and Culkin. If he was a full on pederast any little arse would be fodder, surely. Does pose some questions. This is why Savile had himself encased in concrete.
The two guys that eventually came out in the movie, they were in love with him and wanted to protect him at any costs.
Many sex crimes go unreported for the fear of being stimgized with it..Shame
Dont want to be admit to being a victim
Denial
MJ was a classic pedo, he kept changing boys as he only liked a certain age.
He was acquitted TWICE, cause the jurors of his peers didn't believe he could do what the kid said he did and he had a hell of a defense team
MJ had a cult status and it didn't help he kept saying, "i love all children and I'd never do anything to hurt one"
