55 People Poisoned After Eating Wild Boar Meat, Ratanakiri
Ratanakiri, Cambodia News: On March 10, 2019, there was an outbreak of food poisoning when 55 people in Koh Mear village, Vern Sai district, Ratanakiri, fell ill after eating wild boar meat.
After receiving the information, the medical team from the Ratanakiri provincial hospital in Banlung went to the village to assist the victims at the commune "hospital". The doctors said the victims had eaten raw meat that gave them diarrhea, but it was not serious and would run its course.
