Kandal province, Cambodia News:At 2:40 pm on March 8, 2019, the body of an 18-year-old woman was found in Krokor Village, Samboun Meas Commune, Muk Kampoul District, Kandal Province, in what is a suspected rape and murder case.

The competent authorities arrived to inspect the body and carry out a biographical examination for their investigations. More information to come.

Kandal Province, Cambodia News: Police in Muk Kampoul District said that the victim has been identified as Srey Leap, 18, living in Prek Or village, Sambommeam Commune, Muk Kampoul District.

A source said that Sambo Meas, a 35-year-old male farmer from Pha Krao village, was riding his motorbike along the road when he saw a dark shape down by the riverbank, so he went to see what is was, and found a woman's body.

According to the police, the death of the woman is a murder. Police are investigating the case and are determined to find the culprit and punish him according to the law.
