3 wheeler drivers liscense?

Post by Old8404 »

Do the India three wheelers require a driver license or exempt same as moto? I am sure dealer will tell me “no problem “. Too old to qualify for drivers liscense. Any body know? (Not think). Thank you

Is there an age restriction for a Cambodian License then? - serious question.

Yes, you require a License for a three wheeler - same one as required for a motorbike pulled carriage/trailer/remorque/tuk tuk.

I don't have my license on me, but it's one class below car. A2 category.

The only vehicle not requiring a licence is a moto of 125 cc or less The bajaj Tuc tucs are 150 cc and up as far as I am aware So if they class it as a moto would still require a licence

63 years old is the age limit for licenced drivers ,well that's what's I was told by the instructor giving me my bike licence.
I'm petty sure all foreigners need a licence even under 125 cc

That's barely past middle aged. What about the geriatrics of this country?

I was told the 10 year license would only be good for 1-2 years for older drivers.

I renewed my license till age 68 then they changed the rules and home license could not be expired to renew.

I agree with those saying non Khmer need licence even for 125cc or less

I now ride my ebike it has been great and no hassles

Still better than renewing every year. At least you’ve got six left.

Yer but travel insurance still doesn't cover me because I don't have an Australian bike licence until Cambodia licence is recognised by your home country you will need both countries licences to be insured

My home car driver's license expired many years ago, so I knew I would have to sit the test. I don't' mind doing that. I ride a 125, but it's really for insurance purposes, so I went to Lucky Lucky to find out the procedure of getting a Cambodian motorbike license. They advised me to go to a driving school. The ABC driving school told me they couldn't legally help me, and advised me to go to talk to the people at Aeon 1. I will go and talk to them tomorrow, but I suspect they will tell me to go to Aeon 2 who will refer me back to Lucky Lucky.

My question is how did you get to sit the test?
