Re: Canadian, SWYERS WALTER STANISLAUS, Dies after Serious Stomach Pain
I have had a couple mystery episodes over 5 years that left me on the bathroom floor thinking I was gonna die. In both cases I fully recovered by morning. It didn't seem to be food poisoning either because in my experience that makes you flow from both ends and that was not the case. Otherwise, I never get sick and eat street food and at Khmer places all the time. I feel fortunate.

One favorite Blood Thinner Barangs take is: ASPIRINE !
That however you should not take in the TROPICS like Cambodia because your blood is already substantially thinner in this hot climate than let's say in Sweden, Germany, France or UK. Alternatively most people i know (westerners) take Paracetamol instead. That of course has other serious risks as explained here:

Your Liver could be damaged if you take this drug too long or too much of it.

Your blood viscosity does not alter with climatic temperature.
Blood viscosity is in no way affected by the heat or cold of the surrounding environment, so blood does not thin in hot weather. Experiences of extreme temperatures differ from the effect they have on the blood and other internal anatomical elements of the human makeup.
While the body may feel cooler or warmer depending upon its surroundings, homeostasis ensures that the blood and organs remain at a consistent temperature. Blood viscosity is one of the factors protected by homeostasis, as the maintenance of a consistent level temperature is essential to human health.https://www.reference.com/science/human ... 03b8ee6ed3
Health Matters: True or False: Hotter Climate, Thinner Blood?
The myth has been circulating since the 70’s but doctors say there’s no evidence to support it. Nevertheless, it’s a question they hear regularly from patients. “If they come down, if they’re brand new, that’s exactly what they keep talking about, the thinner blood, the thicker blood. I’ve actually had patients on blood thinners that say will this affect my treatment and the answer is, no it won’t,” said Dr. Grinshteyn.
The process doesn’t involve your blood getting thicker or thinner. “In fact all of the lab tests we do they are relevant for here as they are for up there,” said Dr. Grinshteyn.

It probably arose because blood clots faster in cold temperature.Kuroneko wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 10:49 amYour blood viscosity does not alter with climatic temperature.
