Chinese Couple Held in Phnom Penh Over $5M Investment Scam
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On March 01, 2019, Mr. Pich Vicheathor, the judge at Phnom Penh court, decided to detained a Chinese couple, CHEN DAOMIN, a 57-year-old man and his wife, LIN XUANG, 50-years-old, who were arrested on 28 February on charges of defrauding a Chinese man of $5M on a Phnom Penh property deal.
The victim said that he had trusted CHEN DAOMIN, director in a Chinese bank, to invest his money in a shared condo, allegedly worth $30M, but claims that he was cheated. The couple are reported to have fled to Cambodia with the money.
The two suspects are being held in detention despite their protestations of innocence.

Fled China to Cambodia but easily found and collected for the masters.
Not condoning fraud but it shows that they have a good grip on where their citizens are so would not be an unreasonable assumption for them to know where the shit is in Cambodia also.
