Post by CEOCambodiaNews » Wed Feb 27, 2019 3:08 pm

Poipet, Cambodia News: A 60-year-old South Korean man, identified only as Eim, who lost all his money gambling at a Poipet casino, was found dead at 12 pm on February 26, at Borey Thy Thy, in Poipet city. The victim left a letter for his family.

The last letter from the deceased read:
I would like to apologize to my beloved mother, wife, and children, that I wasted all the property in the family on gambling. Now, it is time for me to do something. This is the last letter from me before I leave forever.

According to the Korean translator, before the victim was discovered, he and his friends had left the casino in the early morning. They were all exhausted, so they went to sleep.
Then at midday the water at the house was cut off, and the victim's friend came downstairs to check the water system, where unfortunately they found the victim hanging. They reported it to the police immediately.

A police investigation of the scene determined that the victim had committed suicide by hanging. The body was taken to keep at Palilai pagoda waiting for his family to hand over.
RIP. A sad tale of gambling.
