What's the nature of her successful businesses?
I hope for his sake she's not the proprietor of a certain cake shop.
Indeed, and just in case it is her, here's a clue for OP without mentioning names..

if she is a upper class lady with upper class friends, start taking home bg's from the streets or Sorya and she wont want to have anything more to do with you once she and her friends knows what ur up to

If I told you what business it is, I am sure someone will know who she is. Sorry but I still have integrity and even if she did the worse to me, I will not publicly embarrass them.
Mate you have got a big wang or do something to her that she likes............a lot.

The best advice so far has been to get someone to move in with you, be it male or female. preferably female.

On the other side if she is so well connected then you are pretty much screwed as her connections can have you jailed, killed or deported. If none of this has happened then her "connections" are not that good but then again if you pay a few tuk tuk blokes a bit of cash they will beat the living shit out of your nominated person.

Best of luck.

Maybe hire a Cambodian guy as a sort of bodyguard for a while. He could escort you to and from home to work.
You could even pretend he is your boyfriend and hold his hand ! 8-)

Actually the solution is very simple, you have to disappear for a while.

1. Throw your sim away, buy a new one. Close your facebook account, or stop using it for a ling time.
2. Leave Phnom Penh for a month or so. Change your locks before and don't leave any valuables. Even better, change house to another part of the city overnight.
3. Avoid areas you know she (or her friends) visits like the plague. Leaving for another province is best if possible,
4. Don't look back, never try to contact her again.
5. When the dust has settled back, return, but never ever contact her or her friends.

Until then, be very careful. Cambodian drama queens can be dangerous for your health.

Gonna call bullshit on his description of said “stalker”. Weird clingy ex-bg yeah... chick with money and connections nah.. not buying it. Unless your idea of “connections” and money are set at a lower level than mine.

I think you should give her radio silence. You are letting her decide where you live. She's glad to be getting reactions from you. Are you talking to her when she calls? You should not be communicating with her at all, as all she's doing is (successfully) keeping you in her life.

Don't acknowledge her.

Don't answer her calls.

Don't reply to her messages.

Heck, block her on as many channels as possible.

Surely she'll get bored of standing outside a house in the street, but she'll never get tired of interacting with you, even if it's just you yelling 'go away! I'm serious!' So if you are doing ANYTHING but ignoring her, you're giving her exactly what she wants: reactions.

Radio silence.

I changed my number, moved to a new town, and she still found me. Last time she was at my job, she thinks I was fired so I have not taken my moto to work. Since we split up, the couple of encounters we had, I don't even look her in the eye. Thanks to those with helpful advice.

This is the bit that makes no sense.
  • OP says she's runs 2 businesses, has a ton of money and is well connected
  • he is low key teacher with little money
  • they met in a bar albeit he suspects she was previously a bar girl..
If she is upper class why would she bother?? Unless she's a nutter..

Image

Also the suggestion to take on another girl I think could be a double edged sword...On the one hand, it may work..she'll realise you have someone else or a butterfly and leave you alone. OTOH and especially if she's a nutter, she may take revenge on the other girl...
