Second Mass Fainting Episode at OLIVE APPAREL Factory

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: In the second mass fainting episode this week, 88 women fainted while working at the garment factory "OLIVE APPAREL (Cambodia) Co, Ltd. ", located at National Road 3, Preak Samrong Village, Sangkat Chom Chao 2, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.
In the morning of February 23, 2019, when 50 workers fainted at the factory, the cause of the incident was determined to be odors coming from an area of car repairs in a garage behind the plant. The factory managers then gave workers a break until February 25.

However, on the morning of 25 February at 7:30am, only half an hour after starting work, women at the factory were showing symptoms such as a rash, vomiting, chest tightness, dizziness, and fainting.
There were more than 2000 workers in the factory, and the other workers began to panic and run out of the factory building. Ambulances were called to take the fainting victims to hospital and the employer allowed the other workers to take a temporary break.
The reason for this latest outbreak of fainting at the Olive Apparel factory has not yet been determined.

Looking at that clip, I imagine that if you were to trip over a bunch of shoes piled up on the outside of a door and hurt yourself, that a hospital would be the place to do it. :fool:
