Post by CEOCambodiaNews » Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:41 am

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A 58-year-old woman, Toun Phear, was arrested on February 24, 2019, at 11 am, for stealing a gold bracelet at a shop on street 652, Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh.
The victim, Kim Noi, 55-years-old, was selling jewelry at her shop when the suspect came in and started to look around. While the shopkeeper was busy and looking elsewhere, the old lady picked up a gold bracelet, put it on her wrist, and walked out of the shop.
However, the shopkeeper, who was not born yesterday, was secretly watching the grandmother, and she detained her as she tried to leave the premises. The police were called and the shoplifter was arrested and taken away to appear in court.
