Solar bicycle lights with horn

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The alternators which run on the side of the tire create a lot of resistance when riding.

The alternators in the middle of the front wheel are much better. These are mostly on Japanese girls bikes. They are rare on mountain bikes.

Lights from alternators also go off when you stop.

The solar lights create no resistance. The solar headlight is significantly brighter. It has the horn also.

Singapore has special police just for these lawless idiots who are better at making illegla turns, jumping red light and running over pedestrians than even cambodians on honda dreams. i suppose putting light on them makes them easier targets
Scourge of any city? I always thought that the scourge of any city in Cambodia are the massive SUV's driven by some VIP or other.
I am disappointed. i was being deliberatley provocative but no one bit :-)
We need a poll on this. In 5 years here have never hit or been hit by a car (probably jinxed myself now). i have been hit by an idiot cyclist. On my daily commute I find the most dangerous driving is younf girls aprons wrapped over their legs for modesty or to stop tans. Second are young lads, as you would expect. In daytime I think car driving has improved a bit. Even had cambodians give way at junctions. Bike driving standard has plummeted. At night its usually tuk tuks jumping light, with no light or going the wrong way down one way streets thats the biggest danger. Cars you can usually see coming from headlights and i just pull over and let the drunk fly past and hit someone else. you have to drive very defensively for sure
