Truck vs Not a Truck
Re: Truck vs Not a Truck
Now a days there are so many grades of petrol especially with the addition of Gasohol making it very confusing. We still use the word benzene in Thailand and Singapore so in the old days it was simple, benzene 95, 91 and diesel thats it. Now a days

Here you go @StroppyChops this is exactly what me and @@la8rat was talking about hahahah...Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 8:14 pmis it fuck, Bap is the name for a bread roll, Baps is just a slang term for breasts because they look like baps, not the other way roundStroppyChops wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:34 pmBut bap is an old-world word for breast, so that makes no sense... Why would you drive 50 miles to get laughed at by a chippy?la8rat wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 6:56 pm this is one of those hood/bonnet trunk/boot things.
its a fucking pickup truck here.
can have similar conversations all over the uk just about what locals call a chip butty. i can drive 50 miles and get laughed out of the chippy for asking for a chip butty. bet jamie lambo calls them a chip barm or a bap or a roll.
Seeing as youre an aussy you would struggle to imagine the fact you can drive 30 minutes down the road and have everyone speak with different dialects and accents,
i feel la8rat's pain, going to the Chippy in England depending on where you are and where youre from can be a pain in the arse when ordering...
Whether you ask for a chip butty or Cob or Bap or Roll or Barm cake or Tea cake or Bread Cake or Stotty or Scuffler or Bun,
then youve got the stress of whether to ask for Scraps or Scrumps or Bits,
then you have to make the right choice of Sauce or Gravy or Curry Sauce or Cheese or Beans/Peas,
get any of these wrong and you will just get a look of disgust that states "Yer not frum rand ere ah ya"
we rest our case....
Couple ordered corn on the cob but got corn on a cob instead
A couple who ordered a corn on the cob from their local takeaway were baffled to be served – a bread roll filled with sweetcorn.
Paige Hart, 24, and boyfriend William Maddock, 32, went to a takeaway in the Midlands, where a bread roll is known commonly known as a ‘cob’.
They placed a £14 order – including a £3.50 dish of corn on the cob – before returning to their flat in Carlton, Nottingham.
That’s when Paige discovered she’d been given sweetcorn on a bread roll.
Paige said: ‘Me and William wanted something to eat before we got home and couldn’t be bothered to cook. ‘It’s a bit like Nando’s so we ordered our chicken. I turned to William and said I fancied I corn on the cob so I asked the guy behind the counter if he did it. ‘At first he looked at me a bit weird and said “of course darling” and bagged it up. We were just gobsmacked. ‘We were both in stitches as he took it so literally. What some people call baps we call cobs so he took it literally.’

That's effing hilarious. I thought I made up 'Baps' as a term of endearment for my GF, and never had a clue it was slang for titties. Haha.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 12:36 amBap is the name for a bread roll, Baps is just a slang term for breasts because they look like baps...

you'd think anything with wheels would just be classed as a getaway vehicle given that your county is basically just a big penal colony.

Speaking of which, there's a whole lot more jacked-up Landcruisers and other trucks around recently. Giving the place a good Mad Max vibe. They could make good tacticals when the shit hits the fan.
