American GARRIE LEONARD WHALEN Dies of a Heart Attack in Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A 79-year-old American man, GARRIE LEONARD WHALEN, died of a heart attack at Nawin guesthouse in Sangkat Chey Chumneas, Phnom Penh.
After receiving the information, the police went to the scene to examine the body and reported it to the prosecutor, the crime department and the Department of Immigration.
After the examination, the police determined that the victim died of a heart attack. He was traveling with his Filipino wife. Condolences to her and RIP.
Edited to correct Mrs Whalen' s nationality. The original report said that she was Malaysian.
