LOL:
good choices
I'd ditch the laptop, (plus charger), i only take mine when i drive, otherwise its a 7" tablet, (doubles as my phone), has my ebooks and music ... WiFi an takes 2 sims
Never travel with long sleeve shirts, but do take a light waterproof jacket
2 tee shirts, 2 short sleeve shirts
2 shorts, 1 pair lightweight long pants, sandals and flip flops, small flashlight, 2 meter extension cord
Sarong, not a small towel,
I hand carry a 17" duffel bag and a small day pack, ( for camera and misc on day trips)
No Phone??
I dont look at my photos until 2 weeks after i return home, so no reason to carry a laptop
carry 3 8gig and 2 16gig memory cards... Plenty enough for a 2 week trip
To others out there, what's in ur travel kit

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

The worst thing about my undies is they're not straight in that picture. It continues to play havoc with my OCD. If you're a one undie kinda guy, more power to you, brother.

That's everything I ever travel with taken the day before I left on this trip. I wear the jeans, l/s shirt, belt and Tevas top/right. Blue bag for electrical, green bag toiletries/meds. Not sure why I think anyone would be interested, but there it is. 4 t-shirts, 2 shorts, 2 l/s shirts, 4 underwear, dry bag, small umbrella, spare glasses, small towel, flip flops, 15' inch laptop, Nikon dslr, 18-270 mm and 35 mm lenses. All of it into carry-on.
Why even bother bringing any heavy underwear at all? It is so seldom that you get sharts!

My favourite place to eat in Indonesia, with branches in all main cities.
Around 50.000 /100.000 rp ( 4-8 Usd) to get stuffed. I miss that for sure.

One is a pair of thongs and the others are sandals. Always pays to have both.
I cut out the jocks but add boxers for sleeping.
Replace the computer with a Samsung tablet.
One t shirt 4 short sleeve shirts three shorts.
one large and one small plastic bags. For wet clothes and to cover entire backpack,
one rain jacket with hood.

No pictures of the corrupt drug dealing Indonesian police?
IMO no Indonesia picture collage can be complete without pics the offical mafia of Indonesia (the bona fide Mexico of Asia).

Bali cop taking bribe then sharing beer :
For the "drug dealing cops"pics, you're most likely to get newspaper pics of the perps after getting caught (for whatever reasons), or getting various testimonies about how drugs are introduced to jail, or about cops shaking down some nightclubs on busy nights (and maybe not some other nightclubs, for whatever reasons), but anyway, even if the reality of things is beyond our perceptions, Cambodia is more obvious about it. More action shortcuts in a smaller and more traumatized society. It's really quite fucked up here, on this plan, compared to the archipelago, even if they have issues there too.

Re: Things of Indo.
Went down to the local market this morning.
This guy was one of the happiest, chattiest guys you'd meet.
The step into this woman's shop was the perfect bench height for her.
The last stall at the very rear of the markets.
This beggar fell asleep on the job.
I see you.
