Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Very simple. Stay in Oz for the kids' education.

As for learning Khmer. You speak English to the kids, and mum can speak Khmer to the kids.

You can speak to the extended family via Facebook or Skype.

Keep in mind that a Uni degree from Cambodia will only be recognized in Cambodia, but a Uni degree from Oz will be recognized world wide.

I'm raising 3 kids here, it costs me over $500/mo for a third rate education.

Hi My name is Dumbinic. Lived in PP breifly in 2008, spent 4 years in Vietnam (2009-2009, 2015-2018). I am about to take a vacation in Laos where, if I like it, I might try to stay. If not I will be in PP by about April looking for work as an English Teacher.

Hi there,

I'm Ghostwriter,
I used to live in KOIndonesia from 2005 to 2015, then in TempleTown & PP from 2015 to 2018,
then moved back to KOF (kingdom of Frogs) since less than a year.

It has been a interesting stay in SR & PP, but also exhausting and risky.

I have been reading very interesting posts both on Khmer440 & CEO, and some very funny ones too. I even enjoy the dickiest ones, and witty humour.

And I like English, although not my mother tongue.

So here i am.

Hello, thought I’d join up to keep up to date with the online world of Cambodia. Lived here for a while now, I like it. I guess I’m a bit of a satirist, so I hope my posts won’t offend anyone personally. I see that there are many that operate in this vein here anyway so I can’t see it being a problem. Anyway, this site seems like it is a good place to share ideas etc on life and current events in Cambodia. Thanks for the platform, now enough about me...
